Fractional microneedle radiofrequency is based on the skin's effective self-renewal ability. It is a non-invasive method of producing new collagen in the skin and overall skin tightening and rejuvenation, thereby smoothing skin irregularities and treating wrinkles.
However, these microneedles are effective not only against aesthetic imperfections, but also dermatological ones. They play a great role in the treatment of unsightly scars and acne marks, hyperpigmented spots, enlarged pores or stretch marks and also treat burn marks.
How does Vivace work?
During the procedure, very thin microneedles are inserted into the skin at a 90-degree angle, penetrating directly to the collagen fibres. The doctor can adjust the exact depth and speed of needle penetration on the device, depending on the specific treatment. For an even more pronounced effect of this therapy, it is possible to combine it with your own plasma or serum with hyaluronic acid.
The effect itself is comparable to fractional laser or chemical peel, but with significantly shorter healing time and higher safety. The healing mechanism of minor punctures is a natural process. In the first phase, there is an inflammatory reaction (1-3 days), a chemotactic cell response and fibroblast proliferation occurs. Platelets are activated. During the second phase (day 3-5), proliferation of fibroblasts, monocytes and keratinocytes continues. The basis of new tissue and new collagen fibres is formed. In the third phase (day 5-20), growth factors are released and fibroblasts release collagen
Skin care after the procedure
Immediately after the procedure, your skin will be treated by a doctor. We recommend washing your skin with clean water or micellar water designed for sensitive skin. On the day of the procedure, we do not recommend using a cream with a chemical UV filter, so as not to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin. However, you should avoid the sun for at least 10 days, but you can protect your skin from the sun on the following days with a 50+ SPF cream. For the first 3 days your skin may feel tight, so moisturise several times a day with a suitable moisturiser or hyaluronic acid serum.
How many treatments are required?
It is very individual, the total number depends on the diagnosis we are treating. However, a minimum of 3 treatments is advisable.
